Has your faith ever been put to the test? Ours definitely has!
As I write this, we have to admit we have had doubts, especially during this time.
The story of the red sea crossing in Exodus 14 is one we can truly relate to. Here God has delivered the Israelite people from the Egyptians in an amazing way, and the people cry out to Lord and complain to Moses when they see the Egyptians coming after them and A BIG obstacle in front of them.( Ex. 14:10-12) I love Moses response, in verse 13, Fear NOT, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which HE will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent!
We are so incredibly grateful for the awesome way God has provided and made possible with so many little and big miracles to get us this far in our journey to Brazil. And still, like the Israelite people we need others to remind us as Moses did for them, Fear not, stand firm and see the salvation of the LORD! So many of you have done this!!!! We are so, SO grateful for your prayers, your gifts and the encouragement! God is using YOU to be the Moses for us!
Just today, on Good Friday, we received one of those reminders. How incredibly intentional is OUR GOD, to remind us on the day that He gave His son to be the gift for our Salvation!
This story, it is not ours, its about HIM and what HE is doing and has DONE. We are the messengers being sent to tell others about this GOOD NEWS! Will you join us today in thanking HIM for this MOST incredible gift!? The gift of His salvation!
